Know what counts
- What uses an AI slide?
- A successful AI slide generation or regeneration uses one slide. Failed attempts, imported outlines, manual edits, recompiling saved content and downloads do not use AI slides. AI outlines do not consume slides, but require enough remaining allowance for the requested deck.
- When does the allowance reset?
- AI slides reset on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Unused slides do not roll over. Admin or team overrides can change your beta allowance; check Settings for the effective limit.
- Can I keep editing my work?
- You can download and edit your PPTX in PowerPoint. Reaching your AI allowance does not block manual content edits or exports of completed presentations.
- What about teams?
- Shared workspaces, roles, comments, version recovery and personal brand kits are available. Paid Team plans, seat billing, organization-wide brand management, live collaborative editing and enterprise SSO are not available yet.
